Three Years of Chages

In almost chronological order, three years of Valentine (with many gaps in between). She is my true love.

Fresno Hot Rod Legend

This was my Cub-Scout leaders brother. I remember that all the family cars had to be striped.

What a lettering job. I wonder if Keira is part of the ad campaign?

Mr. Ron Swanson.

Ill have tea here.

Nice kidney

I'd wake up here.
Well, I have loved this drawing for quite a while and even thought of printing some up. I have found out though my stomach does not take to coffee anymore. I have gone to tea which I am enjoying, it has taken a few weeks to get accustomed to it. I am now enjoying it but it is a change after so many years. Does anyone have a connection with Newby in England, I want some of their Earl Grey?

Dust Storm

Monday we had a front blow through Central California. We got rain, snow and at my home one of the largest dust storms I have ever seen. It was surreal to see this cloud move in over head and then envelop where I was standing with dirt, wind and sand. Just as swiftly as it had moved in the storm passed.

Hot Dock

I have posted about Hot Dock's race machines before. Go to the High Octane blog and check out more detailed photos. Knowing what he has done with other bikes these must scream. I would like to see the manifold that accepts that slide carb (through the fairing I might add).

The Big Fresno Barn

Yesterday tried to get inside the now dilapitated Big Fresno Barn. There was an estate sale, though most of the real nice stuff was already gone. The now, uninterested in history, owners will not allow anyone inside. It was once called Nashville West by Dave Stogner (Leader of the Rhythymaires). It  at one time booked  Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, Little Jimmy Dickens, Hank Snow, Faron Young, Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys.
Link to what was auctioned, and a rare glimpse inside;
